Some of the challenges faced by children and families today are related to traumatic experiences. These experiences could include community violence, historical trauma, natural disasters, neglect, domestic violence, or physical abuse. Human service organizations are challenged with delivering services to individuals and families that is conducive to healing and resiliency. Now more than ever, organizations, families, and individuals need learning programs in place to transfer knowledge, equip parents, caregivers, and future leaders, and empower individuals and families to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
At Pioneering Connections, LLC our goal is to create a learning environment that supports resiliency to overcome adversity and fosters the personal and professional growth of organizations, children, and families. Our training methods support continual learning and the development of individual, familial, and organizational strengths. Our training programs offer blended learning solutions to help parents, families and the organizations that serve them, better understand the needs of children, especially those who have survived traumatic experiences. In addition to training, we also offer strength-based, resilience-focused interventions for young people exposed to trauma and their families
