Meet Dr. Adrienne Kennedy
Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate more justice in this world. Everything I do is for the purpose of moving the most vulnerable and marginalized children in our society to higher ground. The essence of my career has been working on behalf of children navigating threatening systems and those who support them. I have been a witness to how well-intentioned and ill-equipped school professionals can perpetuate negative outcomes for foster youth, this experience led me into the field of education.
My work now includes providing coaching, training, consulting, and technical assistance on creating equitable antiracist, trauma-responsive school systems. I am passionate about helping educators learn to identify and counter the social norms and behaviors that perpetuate negative outcomes and experiences for children and families, especially those who have been historically marginalized.

I am a lifelong learner. who loves to teach and learn from others. I love to connect with others and identify ways to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in our work that serves children.
